Also on salewas Benton's 24 hour comic book "Yeti Hunter", Les Toil's "Casino of Blood,"aswell as Mr. Toil's color prints of "The Seven Deadly Curves", his bevyof plus-size superheroines. I premiered VICE, my Twilight Zone homageto great response (it was my personal best seller at the table.) Both VICE and Babes and Space are now available via this website. Several people fromthe comics press came by for a chat, and hopefully, we will be seeing someof that coverage in the upcoming weeks. Benton and I were even interviewedfor a documentary about 24 hour comic books. Did you notice thecool bobble-head? This handsome little fellow was a gift for my 40thbirthday. I will be sellingmy stuff at San Diego Comic Conat the "Babes In Space" table in the Small Press section July 22-25, 2004. Come on by and say hello. Benton and contributor LesToil will also be manning the table. The first 24Hour Comics Day took place April 24, 2004 | all over the world. At Earth 2, a comic book storein Sherman Oaks, a dozen or so cartoonists each took pen to paper on amission to draw their own 24-page comic within a continuous 24-hour period.I managed to finish pencilling my opus "Vice", a tribute to Film Noir and"The Twilight Zone", but was unable to finish inking by the 24-hour mark. Still, I was happy with the results. Perhaps the finished effort will seeprint sometime soon. |
